Today at the Microsoft Management Summit, a new announcement was released. Microsoft will licence EMC® Smarts® network discovery and health monitoring technology to be included in a future version of Microsoft® System Center Operations Manager.

As from yesterday you can now download System Center Operations Manager 2007 (SCOM) evaluation version from Microsoft. If you have been testing the test version of SCOM (RC2 or IDS build), you can upgrade these, don’t forget to real the documentation!
